Quality as the foundation of our work
The Management of CABBSA declares its commitment to ensuring worker safety and achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction. Furthermore, it recognizes the importance of proper environmental management within its activities—whether direct or indirect—that may impact the environment.
These activities fall under the scope of:
“The construction of the following types of work: earthmoving and drilling (excavations and emptying, leveling, wells, and galleries); hydraulic structures (water supply and sewerage, non-specific hydraulic works); electrical installations (lighting, illumination and light beacons, low-voltage distribution, telecommunications, and non-specific electrical installations); mechanical installations (lifts and conveyors, ventilation, heating and air conditioning, plumbing and sanitation, and non-specific mechanical installations); and specialties (special foundations, piling, painting and metallization, ornamental and decorative works, gardening and planting, monuments, restoration of historical-artistic properties, and fire protection systems).”
For this reason, the company has established the implementation of a Management System within its organization, aimed at achieving the following objectives:
To meet, exceed, or further develop health and safety requirements,
ensuring the continuous improvement of its performance and the prevention of injury and ill health. Prevent work-related injury and ill health while continually improving the Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) management system and its performance.
To establish close relationships,
whenever possible and at all levels, with our clients and stakeholders… interested parties, gaining a deeper understanding of their expectations and collaborating in the definition of their needs and the ideal means to address them; providing updates on the progress of our activities toward environmental conservation and participating in the development of our surroundings.
To instruct, motivate, and involve all company personnel
in the management and development of the Management System through training and information activities, making it a cornerstone of the company; and to maintain a workforce whose training and experience stand out significantly from our competitors.
Establish internal inspection actions
and programmes aimed at preventing, eliminating, or, where possible, minimising the impacts of our activities, provided that such measures are economically feasible.
To protect the environment,
including the prevention of pollution and other specific commitments relevant to the organization’s context.
To incorporate new technologies
into our projects as they become established, particularly in those restoration.
To inform, motivate, and collaborate with our suppliers
and subcontractors so that they may improve their management of quality, environment, and health and safety in the various activities they perform for the company, requesting their collaboration in the application of our Management System.
To identify the environmental aspects
generated during the development of our activities that may interact with the environment, evaluating them to determine their degree of significance
To establish mechanisms to monitor our company’s environmental performance
and advance in the continuous improvement to enhance environmental performance.
Compliance with legal requirements
and other applicable requirements, through the identification of legislation, and verification of compliance.
To maintain rigorous control over our suppliers,
establishing solid and mutually beneficial relationships.
To maintain an internal organization
and a highly efficient infrastructure that allows for the proper balance between control and flexibility of response.
To provide safe and healthy working conditions
To provide safe and healthy working conditions for the prevention of work-related injury and ill health, ensuring they are appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of the organization and to the specific nature of its OH&S risks and its OH&S opportunities.
To eliminate hazards
and reduce OH&S risks.
To promote consultation and participation of workers,
and where they exist workers.
Management assumes the responsibility of applying this Policy and declares its commitment to the development, review, and updating of it, serving as the framework for establishing objectives. All CABBSA personnel and collaborators also have the obligation to apply the management system, as well as contribute to its effectiveness and continuous improvement, each from their own position and responsibilities.
