Cabbsa has begun construction of the new San Josemaría Escrivá de Balaguer Parish Complex in Aravaca, a community center designed to house a place of worship and an area for social, cultural, and educational services linked to pastoral activity. Work is underway on the new library at the San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University, located in the building housing the Basilica of San Francisco El Grande in Madrid, owned by the Obra Pía de los Santos Lugares, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation. The work is being carried out in accordance with the project designed by architects Ignacio Feduchi Benlliure and Ángel García Álvarez, and once completed, it will reinforce the mission and prestige of the San Dámaso Ecclesiastical University. The developer has relied on Cabbsa for the structural work and, following the success of the first phase, for additional work related to the building envelope and finishes. The location and logistics of the area have forced Cabbsa to take extreme care in the precision of its operations on the site. The result of this work will probably be one of the most important commercial buildings in Spain, due to its location, visibility and privileged surroundings, as well as its avant-garde design.

An exclusive residential development in Madrid’s prestigious Salamanca district, in the heart of the city’s Golden Mile. Cabbsa carried out the complete structural rehabilitation, including the new construction of the upper floors, transforming the building into a set of truly unique residences.

Velázquez 21 is notable for its chamfered corner topped with a French neobaroque-style dome. Cabbsa is executing the full structural and architectural rehabilitation of this iconic 1904 building, which was awarded the “Best Constructed House” prize by the Madrid City Council in 1907.

The architectural design of the new chapel is a masterpiece, accommodating 500 worshippers and also functioning as a Faith Formation Center. It includes a subterranean level with versatile spaces for conferences, meetings, and educational events. Two construction systems were applied: a reinforced concrete apse, where great care was given to the formwork, and the main nave, which features large prefabricated timber trusses to span long distances.  

In Melilla, a Spanish city on the northern coast of Africa bordering Morocco, the closure of the Central Market in 2003 left a once-thriving area in disuse. A competition launched in 2008 proposed relocating three educational institutions to the site, transforming it into a “social catalyst” to reunite and integrate the city’s multicultural communities (mainly Christians, Muslims, and Jews). The vertical expansion of new structures was achieved without overloading the old market’s foundations. A lightweight intervention was introduced, using local materials adapted to the climate: ventilated ceramic façades and a gradient-based latticework (aluminum and ceramic joints) varying by orientation.

Located at 36 Gran Vía in Madrid, this flagship store was designed under an innovative retail concept deployed in only a few select cities across Europe. Cabbsa was responsible for the structural reinforcement necessary to excavate a new basement and for the full fit-out of the space including mechanical and electrical systems, all while respecting the restrictions inherent to working on Gran Vía.  

Málaga is a fast-growing technology hub that continues to attract an increasing number of students, highlighting the growing importance of purpose-built student accommodation. This development comprises two six-storey buildings above ground, together with a basement level for technical facilities. The buildings share a common ground floor and are connected from the first floor onwards by a pedestrian walkway linking both blocks. The project has a total built area of 7,009 m² on a 2,700 m² site and is currently undergoing the certification process to achieve LEED Platinum status.  

Caná Foundation is a non-profit organization established by a group of parents to provide meaningful leisure activities for their children with disabilities. It was founded in 2000 under the name ADIPO. Closely linked to Santa María de Caná since its inception, the organization became the Caná Foundation in April 2016, obtaining canonical recognition. In 2017, it opened its headquarters at Santa María de Caná. Today, the Foundation supports a community of more than 200 families.
